This product looks solid, but it's not all metal or Nickel.
The part that attaches to the wall and the ball are metal, but the rest is plastic.
I ended up returning it, since I am looking for an All Metal Handheld Shower Arm Mount

Excellent well made product used with Hans Groh handheld shower head with great results. Much cheaper alternative to other manufacturers.

It's metal and plastic, like the $9 models. The hook that holds the showerhead, and which is the most likely component to break, is plastic. Nothing there to justify the 50% price premium.
