This is by far one of the nicest shower arms I have purchased, however, the fitting is threaded on the end 1/2" which did not match up with what was plumbed in my house. A run to the local HDW store to get a quick fit connector and a hacksaw solved the problem. I nice upgrade to a normally overlooked part of the shower. Recommended
