I got one for a friend (4'7") and naturally, she couldn't reach her shower head to make adjustments. The old head being so high left her unable to get the force or adjustment she needed. She LOVES this thing! And with the wings on the hinges, it's easy for her or anyone in her family to make a different adjustment suitable for their height. I also got one for me just to have the shower head closer for better water force. It's easy to adjust to.
