The shower handles and faucet are good solid brass. As is the shower arm. The actual shower head though is cheap plastic with brass-paint-enamel. I have a 100% brass shower head I got for $10 that I'll slap on it. All in all for the price I paid I'm happy and I knew the shower head would be lame from the picture. The rest is good though. If you are installing from scratch and you don't have plumbing experience I'd advise against that. If you are replacing the same configuration though and have some experience with plumbing you should be able to figure it out. Hope that helps.
