After going on a nightmare quest of buying, returning, back-ordered faucets & being faucetless; I found this simple/attractive EASY to install faucet that even fits my Brita faucet mount system for my new countertops. I wanted something nice looking that wouldn't look to tacky with my must have Brita. I believe that I saw on the Moen site that this faucet is discontinued so get it while you can as there seems to be plenty in stock at various online retailers. It even came with 16 in. supply lines which was unexpected!

It works fine, except, that sometimes you have to close it twice, because it does not go down all the way to shut off, but stops just short of going all the way down, and then you have to go up a ways and back down and it shuts off on the second try. This is obviously an enginering defect.

I have installed / rebuilt many faucets over the years. When the handle broke on a 10yr old American Standard my wife replaced it with this.
I gave this one star because this is the epitome of a poorly engineered 'name brand high dollar' product.
To me true quality withstands the test of time and have a substantial service life.
At first glance the quality seemed pretty nice, substantial heft from a lot of brass, heavy chrome plating, smooth action.
Then came the install...different than anything I've seen. A single (steel) 9/16-ish nut presses against a steel 'cup', 'securing' the faucet assembly to the sink. I emphasize steel because most grade schoolers know steel rusts around water and in time this will be a nightmare to whoever has to remove it! (I coated everything with Vasoline to slow oxidation).
