The Hansgrohe shower arm mount is a simple holder that mounts to a standard shower pipe. It works well with handheld shower arms like the Raindance E150. You will need also need a hose to complete the assembly--any hose seems to fit the standard connections. I don't recommend the Hansgrohe hoses as they are too expensive given that they are made of plastic.

This was a replacement for a leaking shower arm. It works as expected. I wish they made this of metal. This is still plastic and am sure will leak in few year like the previous arm. But I love the shower so will put up with this sub-standard quality arm.
